Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone Safety Production Standardization Site Observation Meeting at SOCMA Factory

On October 24, 2023, in order to further implement the Quanzhou Municipal Safety Production Standardization Improvement Special Action plan, and enhance safety production standardization levels across local enterprises and units, the Safety Production Committee of Quanzhou Taiwan Business Investment Zone held a safety production standardization on-site observation and promotion meeting at South China Heavy Industries factory.

More than 40 people attended the meeting, including leaders from Quanzhou Taiwan Business Investment Zone Safety Production Committee Office, relevant government departments, and member enterprise representatives. As host, South China Heavy Industries General MVanager and Head of the Safety Production Leadership Group Mr. Guo Junfeng accompanied and participated throughout the observation event.

Before the meeting, leaders and safety management personnel from participating units toured the South China Heavy Industries factory area, production workshops, offices, etc., to guide and observe the company’s standardized safety management practices across working zones. Afterwards, the on-site safety production standardization observation and promotion meeting was held in the South China Heavy Industries training room.

As one of the model enterprises representing safety standardization production for this observation activity, South China Heavy Industries shared its own experiences and practices in elevating safety production standardization. Safety production is listed first in the company’s “Five Benefits, Five Musts” code of conduct: “Everything beneficial to safety production must adhere to the highest standards and norms.”

The company has also established a Safety Production Leadership Group headed by the General Manager, with a dedicated Safety and Environmental Protection Equipment Division, Safety Director, full-time safety officers, part-time safety officers, and other management positions relating to safety – 10 roles in total. Over 2 million RMB is invested annually in safety, with regular safety education and training activities held, all fully demonstrating the importance South China Heavy Industries places on safety production management.

This safety production standardization on-site observation provides an excellent opportunity for SOCMA to undergo supervision and assessment from safety management functional departments, verify on-site safety standardization outcomes, and exchange studies and jointly enhance with peer enterprises.

SOCMA will leverage this meeting to better absorb safety experience and lessons from fellow units, improve upon advantages, and continuously enhance company safety production standardization management levels.
