May 24th, 2018 Fujian Southchina Heavy Machinery Manufacture Co.,Ltd.(SOCMA) was invited to participate in the "2018 UN Procurement Trade Negotiation And Training Conference", which hosted by the China International Center For Economic And Technical Exchanges and Department of Commerce of Fujian Province,organized by Fujian Machinery And Technology Products Import & Export Chamber of Commerce.

The training organization specially invited for this training is The UN Office for Project Services(UNOPS). The UN Global Marketing Project assistant Mr. Xu Kaiwen explain the overall framework of the UN system, funding sources and procurement purposes, market size and characteristics, procurement scope and main categories, the key procurement agencies directory, procurement methods and processes,the characteristics of procurement documents and evaluation principles, supplier qualification requirements etc.  for the participants,and select the recent representative of the UN procurement bidding documents for demonstration.The procurement experts of  UNOPS has made relevant presentations on the organization's own procurement,including procurement quantities, category and supplier conditions.At the same time, the meeting also set up interactive sessions for on-site questions and answers, and the experts shared the development experience of the UN market.

On 2015 SOCMA has provided the equipment-telehandlers for UN peacekeeping force in South Sudan.SOCMA was invited to become a contract supplier for UN projects in this conference. 
SOCMA conferee came to the stage together with Mr. Xu Kaiwen to demonstrate how to register online and operate UNGM website for the participants.

Through the on-site communication, SOCMA deepen the business contact with UNOPS, SOCMA will contribute more to the UN global market procurement projects.
