December 6 to 10,2017,the first Asian friendship cup, basketball game held in Cagayan De Oro city, Philippines, the game was hosted by Cagayan de Oro City Council and sponsored by Philippine Airlines.Participating teams from Nanjing, Xiamen (Quanzhou), Macao, Taipei, China, Jakarta, Indonesia, the Philippines Cagayan de Oro, Philippine Airlines, Alpha 7 basketball club Manila，Philippine, the Philippines Davao basketball club, more than a dozen teams.The game held a grand opening ceremony at the time of 19:00, December 6,in Cagayan De Oro city, Philippines, the government of the city and Philippines Airline organized a welcome banquet at night.

After the first day of the game, SOCMA Group as the Chinese mainland team exchange souvenirs with Mr. Oscar Moreno, Mayor of CDO and invite him come to Xiamen,Quanzhou.
This 1st CDO Asian friendship cup treat basketball games as the media but most importantly ,it deepen China-Philippines friendship, strengthen people-to-people exchanges, and expand the brand awareness of south China heavy products in the Philippine market.
